Hey! You got pantry two!
Scroll to read more about this pantry setup.
this is a perfect pantry for you if…
You’re working with limited space! This is actually the most common type of reach-in pantry we see; small, but totally workable with the right setup.
When we first saw this pantry, the client only had 4 wire shelves, so we added two more (one at the very top and one at the bottom). That simple change instantly created way more usable storage.
The #1 key to making a small pantry function? Use the back of the door. Door storage adds a surprising amount of extra space for snacks, drinks, paper goods, lunch supplies, and all the “random” items that usually end up floating around.
This client’s main needs were:
Plenty of snack space for their 4 kiddos
A place to store appliances (they have a smaller kitchen)
No canisters because they didn’t want to lose shelf space
They cook often, so they needed lots of room for dinner fixins’!
And while you may have mentioned wanting canisters, most reach-in pantries simply don’t have enough space to store many of them. That said, if you’d still like a few, you may use them in any extra space you have available.
