this is a perfect pantry for you if…

You’re working with limited space! This is actually the most common type of reach-in pantry we see; small, but totally workable with the right setup.

When we first saw this pantry, the client only had 4 wire shelves, so we added two more (one at the very top and one at the bottom). That simple change instantly created way more usable storage.

The #1 key to making a small pantry function? Use the back of the door. Door storage adds a surprising amount of extra space for snacks, drinks, paper goods, lunch supplies, and all the “random” items that usually end up floating around.

This client’s main needs were:

  • Plenty of snack space for their 4 kiddos

  • A place to store appliances (they have a smaller kitchen)

  • No canisters because they didn’t want to lose shelf space

  • They cook often, so they needed lots of room for dinner fixins’!

And while you may have mentioned wanting canisters, most reach-in pantries simply don’t have enough space to store many of them. That said, if you’d still like a few, you may use them in any extra space you have available.
